finally. ... According to the Associated Press, veteran fullback Sam Gash signed with the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday.
Gash, a 13-year veteran, was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1998 and 1999. Gash started 10 of 16 games for the Buffalo Bills in 2003 and had 11 receptions for 83 yards.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but Owens received a signing bonus of more than $10 million.
"Philly was at the top of the list," Owens said. "I just want to win. I feel like this is a winning organization. Maybe Im the missing link. Well see."
The San Francisco 49ers received defensive end Brandon Whiting from the Eagles, who also sent a fifth-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens.
