I disagree. ...
Also according to Prisco, Boldin will be moving from his "Z" receiver spot to the "X" spot in the offense. The Z receiver plays in the slot, while the X plays wide. Boldin caught 101 passes as a rookie last year, which makes this a risky move.
"I think the split end is ideally suited for him," said Green. "This makes it easier for him, in my opinion, because hell get less double coverage." Johnson will play the slot.
Its also worth noting that Green has set the bar fairly high in terms of expectations for Freddie Jones.
"I cant think of another tight end in the NFC that should start in the Pro Bowl in place of Freddie Jones," Green said of his tight end, who will be entering the final year of his contract in 2004. "If hes not doing that (making it to the Pro Bowl), Im not sure why we would want to have him play ball for us."
Theres nothing quite like starting a relationship with a public challenge; itll be interesting to see how Jones responds.','2/29/2004 12:22:29 PM','12:22:29 PM','Sunday'4475,2004,1006 6568,7,75,
