How Do I Score Points

Points are scored in fantasy football in a variety of ways. Scoring categories may vary from league to league but in the majority of leagues players are rewarded for both the points they score on the field as well as the yards they gain for their team during the course of a game.

For example, your league may reward running backs six points for each touchdown they score to mimic the real game of football -- as well as one point for each fifteen rushing yards they produce during a game.

Depending upon how your league is set up, you'll likely be asked to select a group of "starters" each week from your active roster. And just like an NFL team, you'll likely have to select a quarterback, 1-2 running backs, 2-3 receivers, a specialty team, a defense a kicker and other positions

Make him play in Tampa Bay next season.

Stroud went on to report several members of the organization floated that scenario to Johnson and his representative in the past several days.

"I guess they want to know if I would play in Tampa. Several people have alluded to the fact that its been mentioned throughout [team headquarters]," Johnson said. "Ive never ripped the organization. In fact, when I was deactivated, I said then I would come back and play if they asked me to. I want to play football.

"I dont have a problem with anything one way or another. But in all likelihood, the chances of that happening are slim and none. But when you throw the line out there, you never know what you might catch."

Johnson, who was deactivated for the final six games of the season by head coach Jon Gruden, has four seasons remaining on his eight-year, $56-million contract. But his relationship with Gruden became a personal, public feud.

Gruden called Johnson a "distraction" in the locker room and Johnson referred to the Bucs coach as "a used car salesman." A return to
