"Its kind of like the run-and-shoot. The run-and-shoot had some great games, but there are circumstances where people are wondering what youre doing."
Ward agrees that while its great when it works, over the course of a game you need more balance.
"I would love to do it, but for us to get to where we want to go, we have to be balanced," said Ward. "By us being more balanced, we are a more dominant team than just going out there and doing hurry up and no huddle."

Tight end Jay Riemersma (chest) is questionable, but he practiced.','12/4/2003','9:15:00 AM','Thursday',747 6317,19,14,'Sloan Signed; Stallworth Doubtful...','According to New Orleans Times-Picayune staff writer Brian Allee-Walsh, the Saints have re-signed veteran tight end David Sloan for the remainder of the season.
Sloan, whose contract was terminated Aug. 31, caught 12 passes for 127 yards last season. Defensive tackle Henry Ford was waived to make room for Sloan on the 53-man roster.
Sloans signing was necessitated when rookie free agent tight end Zach Hilton injured his left knee against the Washington Redskins on Sunday at Landover, Md.
Hilton is not expected to play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Superdome, leaving the Saints with two healthy tight ends -- Boo Williams and Walter Rasby.
Starting tight end Ernie Conwell was lost for the season when he suffered a broken ankle against the Atlanta Falcons on Nov. 16.
"We thought we needed to being three tight ends into the game," head coach Jim Haslett said. "Dave knows the offense. If it werent for Zach, then Dave would have been here to open the season. But we decided to keep a young guy around as our fourth tight end.
"Dave looks good. He feels good. Hopefully, he will help us win a game."
