Asked about the chances of Brown, who has missed the last three games with what Boston Globe staffer Nick Cafardo described as an "injured hamstring," actually hitting the field against Miami tomorrow, head coach Bill Belichick didnt sound especially optimistic.
"I dont know," the coach explained. "With Troy, we havent done much so far. Maybe it will be a game-day decision. We dont want to set him back, so we will give him as much time as possible and take a look at it before the game. I have no idea."
Belichick did say that Brown has pushed to play.
"Of course," said Belichick. "Nobody is more competitive than Troy. He is working hard to be out there. Nobody is working harder than he is. ..."
Maybe so, but just about everybody is playing more than him and at this point in the season, Id hate to be relying on him for Fantasy production down the stretch. ...
