to Ft. Worth Star Telegram staff writer Jennifer Floyd Engel, Aveion Cason might have played his last game for the Cowboys this season.
Definitely sidelined for tomorrows game against Philadelphia because of cartilage damage in his right knee, the Cowboys want to see how the running back responds to rest and treatment over the weekend before deciding whether to place him on injured reserve.
"I dont think its something that maybe he couldnt play with the rest of the year. Its just a question of being able to count on somebody," head coach Bill Parcells said. He also is fast for a tight end, which will lead to opportunities down the middle against linebackers."','12/6/2003','7:45:00 AM','Saturday',784 6352,20,14,'Fassel Not Optimistic About Shockeys Chances...','According to Newark Star-Ledger staffer Kimberly Jones, Jeremy Shockey (knee) did not practice again Friday, lessening any remaining hell play tomorrow.
