According to Grossi, "he would be entitled to one good, I-told-you-so tirade," but he has held back.

"Were not where we wanted to be, so I dont think were ahead of schedule," Couch said with a hint of a chuckle.
Couch will find another job next season and make millions. The blow to his ego is softened by the knowledge that St. Louis Kurt Warner is on the bench after winning a Super Bowl and two league MVP awards.
Couch said that he doesnt know his value in the NFL marketplace, but "Im sure Ill find out pretty soon."
Until then, the last chapters in his Cleveland career play out. A cameo appearance in the two remaining home games is possible. If he had the chance, how would Couch write the final chapter?
"I just want to finish on a good note as a team," he said. "Id like to just finish this year on a positive note, whether its me or Kelly, and just see the offense doing good. ..."
