He had 61 carries the past two games, the most hes ever had in a two-week span with the Jaguars, and head coach Jack Del Rio said the Jaguars would like him to keep carrying it 25 to 30 times a game.

They had trouble getting him the ball earlier because they either didnt keep drives going or fell behind.

"People used to say youre not physically tough, youre not mentally tough," Taylor said.

Hes proving he is with 28 consecutive starts the last two years and 32 carries against the Jets two weeks ago while playing with a sore knee. He came back with 29 against Tampa Bay.

Taylor, though, feels hes had too many drops in the passing game and said, "I think Im having an OK season. Its not a great one."

Hes rushed 249 times for 1,037 yards and has 41 catches for 303 yards.
