Alexander, as is his way, seems relaxed, almost laid back, about accepting a leadership role on the team through his play. The pressure as a top player is fairly new to Alexander, as it is to many Seahawks who havent been involved in many playoff chases.

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Dalton is still wondering.
Smith came to the Vikings with a tag as a bad risk. Many teams took Smith, considered a first-rounder in ability, off their draft boards because of his reputation as a bad character risk. Many teams believed that the Vikings rolled the dice, even though they spent only a fourth-round pick on the Oregon tailback.
Most scouts agree that Smith was the best second-day draft choice, but his past was too dark for them to touch him.
Eight months into his Vikings career, those around him say they are surprised there was a concern about the studious, affable Smith.
"Great kid," Dalton said.
