Caldwell, fit or not fit, has lost his starting job to rookie Kassim Osgood.
This was the year Caldwell was going to blossom into a No. 2 receiver. Instead, hes been dogged by injuries -- now he has a strained hamstring -- and in the mean time Osgood has come on.
Osgood had his first 100-yard game in the loss at Pittsburgh and he will start opposite Boston on Sunday.','12/26/2003','6:45:00 PM','Friday',955 6521,1,17,'Rackers Signs Two-Year Extension...','According to reports out of Tempe, the Cardinals on Friday signed kicker Neil Rackers to a two-year contract extension. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Since being signed on November 11, Rackers has been unspectacular, converting 7-of-10 field goals and all eight of his extra points.
Rackers, who spent his first three seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, has made an unimpressive 51-of-77 field-goal attempts in his career.
For what its worth, this deal all but guarantees that Bill Gramaticas career as a Cardinal has come to an end.

In an article published Friday, ESPN.com insider Len Pasquarelli advised readers to "take this one to the bank.
"With the San Diego job not opening up, and the Raiders likely to go with another in their long line of guys with no previous head coach experience, look for Dennis Green to poke around the vacancy soon to be created in Arizona."
Pasquarelli added: "There are some legitimate players in Arizona, lots of high-round draft choices, and the Cardinals definitely have underachieved.
