6499,19,17,'McAllister Misses Practice, Still Expected To Play...','According to New Orleans Times-Picayune beat man Jeff Duncan, Deuce McAllister was held out of Wednesdays practice in order to rest his sore knee. The star halfback is listed as questionable on this weeks injury report.
However, McAllister, who needs 83 yards to break George Rogers season record of 1,674 rushing yards in 1981, is expected to play Sunday.
"Today hes sore, so he didnt practice," head coach Jim Haslett said. "Hell be fine. Hell play."
Also on the injury front. ...
Joe Horn is listed as doubtful on the injury report, although Haslett said Monday that Horn is unlikely to play. The three-time Pro Bowl receiver did not practice Wednesday. Fellow wideout Michael Lewis (questionable, quad) was also held out.
If Lewis is unable to go, Aaron Brooks will be working against the Cowboys with a receiving corps that will include veterans Jerome Pathon and Donte Stallworth, rookie Talman Gardner and former free agent Derrick Lewis. Gardner and Derrick Lewis have combined for four catches.
But as noted by the Sports XChange, that doesnt mean Brooks wont have enough targets. Tight end Boo Williams, a converted wide receiver who has 38 receptions and five touchdowns this season, is an option as well.

Brooks reached a couple of milestones against the Jaguars as he broke the club record for 250-yard passing games and moved into a tie for second on the clubs all-time list for touchdown passes.
Brooks completed 22 of 38 passes for 296 yards. He topped the 250-yard mark for the 21st time in his five-year career, which broke the old club mark of 20 set by Archie Manning (1971-75, 1977-82. Brooks also has a pair of 250-yard games in the playoffs.
