Bledsoe said the most significant differences between this year and last are lack of production in converting third downs and the Bills inability to hit a big play.
Buffalo ranks 31st in the NFL, having converted just 30 percent of its third-down opportunities. Bledsoe has five times this season failed to complete a pass of 20 yards or longer in a game, and seven times failed to throw for 200 or more yards.
"I analyze my play and critique myself very heavily, and there have been some plays that I havent hit this year, there have been some decisions that have been poor decisions by me," Bledsoe said. "But none of that has to do with ability or intelligence."

In a comparison of Josh Reed and Price published Thursday, SportsLine.com senior writer Pete Prisco noted on Thursday that while Reed has 53 catches -- a decent number, he is averaging 10.3 per catch. Price averaged 13.3 per catch last season for the Bills. He also had 16 catches of 20 yards or more, while Reed has five. Price had six catches of 40 or more yards, while Reed has none.
As Prisco summed up: "Reed is a decent player, but he doesnt have that deep speed that Price brought to the offense...."
According to Buffalo News beat man Allen Wilson, its looking more and more like rookie running back Willis McGahee wont play this season. While the Bills say he has recovered from major knee surgery and how much hes improving every week, they dont sound too committed to giving McGahee carries against live competition.
"Hes worked very hard to get to this point of the year to get back out on the field, and everybody wants to play," Williams said. "Well take a look at trying to make that happen, but Im not going to jeopardize (his future) the last two weeks of the season over a health issue with him."
Although Williams said the weather wouldnt be a factor in his decision whether to play McGahee, it would be very risky
