However, Tice reiterated that Bennett will start against the Chiefs and play as much as he can. Bennett sat out last weeks game. Moe Williams and Onterrio Smith will see a lot of action to keep Bennett fresh.
Its worth noting that Minneapolis Star Tribune staffer Mark Craig noted that Bennett wore a protective boot on the ankle while watching Thursdays session.
Ill also remind you that Tice did a similar song-and-dance routine last week, only to deactivate Bennett on game day.

According to Williamson, for Randy Moss, being elected to the Pro Bowl was commendation for what could be a historic season and for Daunte Culpepper, it was validation after three seasons of doubt.
Moss, who declined to comment about his fifth selection in his six-season career, is close to becoming the first NFL receiver to average 100 yards and a touchdown in every game in a season. He needs 135 yards and two touchdowns in the final two games to accomplish the feat.
He has reached a career high in yards with 1,465, breaking his team record, and is within reach of personal highs for catches and touchdowns. He has 99 catches; his career high is 106.
