Sunday....
According to NorthJersey.com staffer Randy Lange, only once before in the last seven seasons has an NFL player had at least as much yardage in a game and not scored a touchdown.
That was Tiki Barber, who had 276 yards in the Giants 10-7 win over Philadelphia to end the 2002 regular season.','12/19/2003','1:00:00 AM','Friday',887 6454,23,16,'Rookie Tight End Smith Ruled Out...','According to Philadelphia Inquirer staff writer Bob Brookover, rookie tight end L.J. Smith, who is hampered by a sore back and groin, will not play Sunday.
That means long snapper and third tight end Mike Bartrum probably will be on the field for a few snaps when the Eagles are in a two-tight-end formation.
"[Bartrum] will get in there and do all right," offensive coordinator Brad Childress said. "He jumped into the game the other night to help us finish and he didnt keep us out of any of that two-tight-end stuff."
Bartrum has four career catches -- three for touchdowns.','12/19/2003','1:25:00 AM','Friday',888 6455,7,16,'Warrick Has Knee Scoped; Could Return Next Week...','According to Bengals.com staff writer Geoff Hobson, the Bengals have lost wide receiver Peter Warrick for this Sundays game against the Rams after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery Friday morning for torn cartilage.
The Bengals are hoping Warrick can recover in time to play in the seasons finale against the Browns in nine days at Paul Brown Stadium.
Warrick, who has career highs with 75 catches, 794 yards, and seven touchdowns, is going to miss just his second game in four seasons after suffering the injury in last Sundays 41-38 victory over San Francisco. On Thursday, he was named a second alternate kick returner on the AFC Pro Bowl team.
Hobson went on to suggest this injury could mean that rookie Kelley Washington makes his first NFL start opposite Pro Bowler Chad Johnson
