"The quarterback has the most to do with it," Fiedler said. "He has the ball in his hands. He makes more decisions than anyone else on the field. But hes not necessarily the most important.
"Everyone is important. All 11 guys on offense are important to every play. If one guy messes up, it affects the play. If everyone does their job and the quarterback messes up, hes going to be the focal point."
Too many times this season, Fiedler has been the focal point.
A major jump in salary and a $2 million roster bonus due in the spring will be contributing factors in Fiedlers return or departure. So will possible draftees such as Ben Roethlisberger or J.P. Losman or the availability of veterans such as Warner, Mark Brunell or Jon Kitna.
"My future?" Fiedler said. "Its always undetermined."
