6445,10,16,'Portis Sits Again; Can He Play Without Practicing?','According to the Associated Press, Clinton Portis missed his second straight day of practice Thursday because of injuries to his right leg. Hobbled by a sprained knee and high ankle, Portis was listed as questionable on the Broncos injury report.
Head coach Mike Shanahan was hopeful Portis might practice Friday as the Broncos continued preparations for Sunday nights game in Indianapolis.

If he doesnt practice a certain amount, you question yourself on how many reps you can give him. So theres a lot of questions that go into it and instead of speculating, I will have a better feel at the end of the week and see how he is feeling."
Added tight end Shannon Sharpe: "Obviously Mike likes to see a guy do something so he doesnt waste a roster spot come game day, because if a guy comes out there and hes
