If todays game against Cleveland is Sharpes final home game with the Broncos, he will have given fans plenty to remember.
Hes the leagues career leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns for a tight end. Sharpe also played on Denvers two Super Bowl-winning teams and has been a vocal leader in the locker room throughout his career.
And at 35, hes still at the top of his game.
Sharpe is second in the league among tight ends with 52 receptions, two behind Kansas Citys Tony Gonzalez, and has 648 yards receiving with eight touchdowns.
Last week, he caught six passes, becoming the first tight end to eclipse 800 receptions, and became just the fourth player in league history -- and the first tight end -- to catch 50 passes in 11 straight seasons.
Sharpe can also become the first tight end to reach 10,000 yards receiving with 67 yards Sunday against the Browns.
But even with those accomplishments this season, its another area that Sharpe has been most proud of.
"Ive been really pleased the last month with the way Ive played overall," he said. "Maybe Ive had better numbers as far as catching the football, but I dont know if Ive blocked any better in the last month of the season than I have at any point in my career."

In an article published Monday, Pro Football Weekly noted the teams lack of depth at receiver -- an area they felt more than comfortable with this summer -- is suddenly a major concern.
A lot of the confidence with the receiving corps fell by the wayside when veteran Ed McCaffrey was sidelined for more than a month with a quadriceps tear, because no one stepped up to fill the void. The Broncos are described by sources in Denver as being "patiently frustrated" with second-year man Ashley Lelie.
