Interim head coach Wade Phillips made a couple changes from Dan Reeves practice routine. First, the practices were slightly shorter than those that Reeves had run. Secondly, the team had practiced one day a week in shoulder pads since returning from the bye week six weeks ago, but didnt this week.
It was partly because the team was banged up, and to give the team a mental lift during a trying week. But its also Phillips philosophy.

Looker is third on the team in receptions with 38 and has 413 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and is the Rams third receiver in their offense despite never having caught an NFL pass until this season.
A knee injury suffered in Cleveland on Monday night wont be enough to keep Looker, who was upgraded to probable Friday, from playing tomorrow against the Seahawks. That is a relief for head coach Mike Martz, who said Looker has been "an integral part of everything for us."
"Oh man, he gives us three big, big plays, at least three, every week in some phase of the game," Martz said of Looker, who is also a holder and a special-teams stalwart on kickoff coverage.
"I just love being around him. He is what everybody wants in a team and wants for a son-in-law. Thats the best way I can put it."
