Holmes is on pace for another 300-plus carry season. The early-season fuss that Holmes was getting the ball too much has died and now the Chiefs are fretting hes not getting it enough.

The performance is noteworthy because the Chiefs and Chargers run very similar offenses and Holmes may actually be a better receiver than Tomlinson. Holmes leads the Chiefs with 62 receptions for 592 yards.
Like Tomlinson, Holmes typically serves as the check down guy when things arent open downfield.
