Tony McGee, the veteran tight end signed on Tuesday, will be in uniform for the Redskins game unless Shockey is active.
"Well keep a limited package for him," Fassel said. "He will play if we get to a couple packages we have in there for him. Other than that, he wouldnt play unless we had an injury."
Its worth noting that McGee, cut twice by Dallas this year, said he heard nothing out of the ordinary at practice, probably because so much of the Giants and Cowboys playbooks sound the same.
