McNabb, though, said that game was the one where the offense rediscovered its confidence.
"Its the development in the plays, the confidence in the plays that we made in the game when we needed it that really could have been the turning point for us," he said.
The Eagles offense continued clicking in wins over the Jets and Atlanta, then was sharp in the clutch in early November at Green Bay. Philadelphia trailed entering the fourth quarter, but McNabb threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Todd Pinkston with 27 seconds left to give the Eagles a 17-14 victory.

As it turns out, there was no need for Philadelphia to re-sign him so quickly.

Thrash, who played last week with a sprained thumb, will do the same this week. He had four catches against the Cowboys.','12/12/2003','12:05:00 AM','Friday',814
