2001 NFL Coaches By Team

There were 32 different pro football coaches in 2001. The Minnesota Vikings had multiple coaches. Mike Martz led his team, the St. Louis Rams, to the best record at 14 - 2. Ultimately, though the top coaching job would go to Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots because he led his team to the Super Bowl Championship. Other top coaching jobs of 2001 were Bill Cowher who led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 13 - 3 record, Dick Jauron who led the Chicago Bears to a 13 - 3 record and Mike Sherman who led the Green Bay Packers to a 12 - 4 record.
