1984 NFL Coaches By Team

There were 30 different pro football coaches in 1984. The Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots had multiple coaches. Bill Walsh led his team, the San Francisco 49ers, to the best record at 15 - 1. Walsh not only coached his team to the top record but he also led his team to the Super Bowl Championship. Other top coaching jobs of 1984 were Don Shula who led the Miami Dolphins to a 14 - 2 record, Dan Reeves who led the Denver Broncos to a 13 - 3 record and Chuck Knox who led the Seattle Seahawks to a 12 - 4 record.
