There were 12 different pro football coaches in 1941. The Pittsburgh Steelers had multiple coaches. Curly Lambeau led his team, the Green Bay Packers, to the best record at 10 - 1. Ultimately, though the top coaching job would go to George Halas of the Chicago Bears because he led his team to the Championship.
