1985 Tight End Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a tight end in 1985 was James Jones of the Detroit Lions who averaged 11.38 points per game over 14 games. Jones had 886 rushing yards, 6 rushing touchdowns, 45 receptions, 334 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns which contributed to his fantasy total of 159.30 points. Mickey Shuler, Jimmie Giles, Doug Cosbie and Paul Coffman had the other top 1985 tight end fantasy seasons.
