1983 Tight End Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a tight end in 1983 was James Jones of the Detroit Lions who averaged 8.06 points per game over 14 games. Jones had 475 rushing yards, 6 rushing touchdowns, 46 receptions, 467 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown which contributed to his fantasy total of 112.85 points. Paul Coffman, Kellen Winslow, Ozzie Newsome and Doug Marsh had the other top 1983 tight end fantasy seasons.
