1972 Tight End Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a tight end in 1972 was Ted Kwalick of the San Francisco 49ers who averaged 6.62 points per game over 14 games. Kwalick had 40 receptions, 751 receiving yards, 9 receiving touchdowns and 11 rushing yards which contributed to his fantasy total of 92.65 points. Raymond Chester, Bob Tucker, Jerry Smith and Charlie Sanders had the other top 1972 tight end fantasy seasons.
