1971 Tight End Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a tight end in 1971 was Bob Tucker of the New York Giants who averaged 5.30 points per game over 12 games. Tucker had 59 receptions, 791 receiving yards, 4 receiving touchdowns and 1 rushing yard which contributed to his fantasy total of 63.65 points. Ted Kwalick, Jackie Smith, Jim Mitchell and Raymond Chester had the other top 1971 tight end fantasy seasons.
