1970 Tight End Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a tight end in 1970 was Jerry Smith of the Washington Redskins who averaged 6.12 points per game over 14 games. Smith had 43 receptions, 575 receiving yards, 9 receiving touchdowns and 29 rushing yards which contributed to his fantasy total of 85.65 points. Willie Frazier, Jim Mitchell, Raymond Chester and Charlie Sanders had the other top 1970 tight end fantasy seasons.
