1976 Running Back Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a running back in 1976 was Chuck Foreman of the Minnesota Vikings who averaged 16.27 points per game over 14 games. Foreman had 1,155 rushing yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, 55 receptions, 567 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown which contributed to his fantasy total of 227.85 points. Walter Payton, O.J. Simpson, Franco Harris and Delvin Williams had the other top 1976 running back fantasy seasons.
