1973 Running Back Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a running back in 1973 was O.J. Simpson of the Buffalo Bills who averaged 19.69 points per game over 14 games. Simpson had 2,003 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 6 receptions and 70 receiving yards which contributed to his fantasy total of 275.65 points. Floyd Little, Larry Brown, Ron Johnson and Jim Braxton had the other top 1973 running back fantasy seasons.
