1969 Running Back Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a running back in 1969 was Tom Matte of the Baltimore Colts who averaged 14.06 points per game over 14 games. Matte had 909 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns, 43 receptions, 513 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns and 46 passing yards which contributed to his fantasy total of 196.85 points. Floyd Little, Calvin Hill, Leroy Kelly and Gale Sayers had the other top 1969 running back fantasy seasons.
