1965 Running Back Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a running back in 1965 was Jim Brown of the Cleveland Browns who averaged 21.55 points per game over 14 games. Brown had 1,544 rushing yards, 17 rushing touchdowns, 34 receptions, 328 receiving yards, 4 receiving touchdowns, 39 passing yards and 1 passing touchdown which contributed to his fantasy total of 301.75 points. Gale Sayers, Tommy Mason, Clem Daniels and Timmy Brown had the other top 1965 running back fantasy seasons.
