1963 Running Back Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a running back in 1963 was Jim Brown of the Cleveland Browns who averaged 20.69 points per game over 14 games. Brown had 1,863 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 24 receptions, 268 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns which contributed to his fantasy total of 289.70 points. Cookie Gilchrist, Clem Daniels, Paul Lowe and Timmy Brown had the other top 1963 running back fantasy seasons.
