1959 Running Back Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a running back in 1959 was Jim Brown of the Cleveland Browns who averaged 18.87 points per game over 12 games. Brown had 1,329 rushing yards, 14 rushing touchdowns, 24 receptions and 190 receiving yards which contributed to his fantasy total of 226.40 points. J.D. Smith, Rick Casares, Bobby Mitchell and Tom Tracy had the other top 1959 running back fantasy seasons.
