1972 Quarterback Fantasy Leaders By Position

The best fantasy point season for a quarterback in 1972 was Greg Landry of the Detroit Lions who averaged 18.84 points per game over 14 games. Landry had 2,066 passing yards, 18 passing touchdowns, 524 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns which contributed to his fantasy total of 263.70 points. Archie Manning, Bobby Douglass, Joe Namath and Terry Bradshaw had the other top 1972 quarterback fantasy seasons.
