1986 NFL Season

In 1986 the Chicago Bears finished with the best record in the league at 14 and 2, but they did not make the Super Bowl. Dan Marino led the league in passing yards with 4,746, Eric Dickerson led the league in rushing yards with 1,821 and Jerry Rice lead the league in receiving yards with 1,570. The top fantasy point producers for the season were Dan Marino with 23.06 points per game, Boomer Esiason with 18.16 points per game and Tommy Kramer with 17.91 points per game. Some of the top fantasy games were Boomer Esiason with 40.75 points against the New York Jets, Dan Marino with 40.40 points against the New York Jets and Curt Warner with 38.65 points against the Denver Broncos.
