1983 NFL Season

In 1983 the Washington Redskins finished with the best record in the league at 14 and 2, but they lost the Super Bowl to the Los Angeles Raiders. Lynn Dickey led the league in passing yards with 4,458, Eric Dickerson led the league in rushing yards with 1,808 and Mike Quick lead the league in receiving yards with 1,409. The top fantasy point producers for the season were Dan Fouts with 21.43 points per game, Lynn Dickey with 21.13 points per game and Eric Dickerson with 20.06 points per game. Some of the top fantasy games were Bill Kenney with 40.25 points against the Seattle Seahawks, Tony Collins with 39.45 points against the New York Jets and Eric Dickerson with 38.95 points against the Detroit Lions.
