1980 NFL Season

In 1980 the Atlanta Falcons finished with the best record in the league at 12 and 4, but they did not make the Super Bowl. Dan Fouts led the league in passing yards with 4,715, Earl Campbell led the league in rushing yards with 1,934 and John Jefferson lead the league in receiving yards with 1,340. The top fantasy point producers for the season were Dan Fouts with 21.20 points per game, Brian Sipe with 19.26 points per game and Earl Campbell with 18.64 points per game. Some of the top fantasy games were Doug Williams with 37.60 points against the Minnesota Vikings, Billy Sims with 36.50 points against the Los Angeles Rams and Tommy Kramer with 35.90 points against the Cleveland Browns.
