1978 NFL Season

In 1978 the Pittsburgh Steelers finished with the best record in the league at 14 and 2, and they went on to win the Super Bowl against the Dallas Cowboys. Fran Tarkenton led the league in passing yards with 3,468, Earl Campbell led the league in rushing yards with 1,450 and Wesley Walker lead the league in receiving yards with 1,169. The top fantasy point producers for the season were Roger Staubach with 17.25 points per game, Jim Zorn with 17.13 points per game and Steve Grogan with 16.88 points per game. Some of the top fantasy games were Earl Campbell with 43.90 points against the Miami Dolphins, Jim Hart with 38.75 points against the Atlanta Falcons and Terdell Middleton with 37.00 points against the Seattle Seahawks.
