1973 NFL Season

In 1973 the Miami Dolphins finished with the best record in the league at 12 and 2, and they went on to win the Super Bowl against the Minnesota Vikings. Roman Gabriel led the league in passing yards with 3,219, O.J. Simpson led the league in rushing yards with 2,003 and Harold Carmichael lead the league in receiving yards with 1,116. The top fantasy point producers for the season were O.J. Simpson with 19.69 points per game, Roman Gabriel with 16.93 points per game and Roger Staubach with 16.67 points per game. Some of the top fantasy games were Larry Brown with 44.25 points against the Philadelphia Eagles, Bobby Douglass with 39.90 points against the Green Bay Packers and Mercury Morris with 37.70 points against the New England Patriots.
