1970 NFL Season

In 1970 the Minnesota Vikings finished with the best record in the league at 12 and 2, but they did not make the Super Bowl. John Brodie led the league in passing yards with 2,941, Larry Brown led the league in rushing yards with 1,125 and Gene Washington lead the league in receiving yards with 1,100. The top fantasy point producers for the season were John Brodie with 16.71 points per game, Fran Tarkenton with 16.53 points per game and John Hadl with 15.01 points per game. Some of the top fantasy games were Jack Concannon with 38.00 points against the Green Bay Packers, MacArthur Lane with 37.80 points against the Philadelphia Eagles and John Fuqua with 35.70 points against the Philadelphia Eagles.
