Single Game Stat Leaders

Best Passing, Rushing, Receiving & Kicking Stat Games Of All Time

Game logs and game stats were not officially recorded until the start of the 1970 season, so many of the top single game stat leaders may not be officially listed as a single game record. Many of these pre 1970 records are still talked about and have become part of legend and lore of the game. One example is the 6 touchdowns in a single game by Gale Sayers in 1965, his rookie year. Though this stat is not listed in the top single game touchdown total there still are some amazing stats such as the 296 rushing yards in a game by Adrian Peterson in 2007, the 336 receiving yards in a game by Flipper Anderson in 1989 and the 8 field goals in a game by Rob Bironas in 2007.
