Tight End Fantasy Averages By Career Year
Tight Ends are the lowest fantasy producing position, so when you average in starters and backups there is not much difference from career year to career year. The top fantasy tight end production years are from career years 4 through 8, but it is not a big difference over other years. Like most other fantasy positions the best years are in that 4 to 8 career year window. Production clearly begins to drop after Year 8, but it is not a large drop off in terms of fantasy game average.
Top 10 Tight Ends:
Career years 2 through 5 are the years when tight ends make the Top 10 the most, with year 3 clearly being the top. From a point total, career year 7 is the best for Top 10 tight ends, though years 4 through 11 are all fairly consistent and usually above the Top 10 TE fantasy average.
