Quarterback Fantasy Averages By Career Year
On average, over the past 15 years, Quarterbacks enter their prime fantasy production years in their 4th year. The prime years appear to be between the 4th and 8th career years. For QBs that have played 10+ years, career years 10, 11, 13 and 14 are also very productive, though the amount of games for these later career years is not as high, so if 1 or 2 QBs have a great year it can skew the results. The averages for the first 8 career years are more reliable since there are many more games to average. Based on an adequate amount of games, the Top Quarterback fantasy career year takes place in year 6.
