The 2005 Hall of Fame Class consisted of the following members: Fritz Pollard who played for the Akron Indians, Akron Pros, Hammond Pros, Milwaukee Badgers and Providence Steam Roller from 1920 - 1926, Benny Friedman who played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cleveland Bulldogs, Detroit Wolverines and New York Giants from 1927 - 1934, Steve Young who played for the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1985 - 1999 and Dan Marino who played for the Miami Dolphins from 1983 - 1999.
