The 1996 Hall of Fame Class consisted of the following members: Lou Creekmur who played for the Detroit Lions from 1950 - 1959, Dan Dierdorf who played for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1971 - 1983, Charlie Joiner who played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Oilers and San Diego Chargers from 1969 - 1986, Mel Renfro who played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1964 - 1977 and Joe Gibbs who coached from 1981 - 2007.
