The 1987 Hall of Fame Class consisted of the following members: John Henry Johnson who played for the Detroit Lions, Houston Oilers, Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers from 1954 - 1966, Larry Csonka who played for the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants from 1968 - 1979, Don Maynard who played for the New York Giants, New York Jets, New York Titans and St. Louis Cardinals from 1958 - 1973, Joe Greene who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1969 - 1981, Len Dawson who played for the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers from 1957 - 1975, Gene Upshaw who played for the Oakland Raiders from 1967 - 1981 and Jim Langer who played for the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings from 1970 - 1981.
