The 1970 Hall of Fame Class consisted of the following members: Hugh McElhenny who played for the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers from 1952 - 1964, Jack Christiansen who played for the Detroit Lions from 1951 - 1958, Tom Fears who played for the Los Angeles Rams from 1948 - 1956 and Pete Pihos who played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1947 - 1955.
